A duo you either hate or love, I for one can not help but be attracted to the bizzare, twisted videos Die Antwoord release. Usually their songs are just as vibrant as their music videos. Ninja and Yolanda are pretty much our generations most infamous dup/couple who have crossed numerous boundary lines along with blurring the rules of musical composition. By consuming and producing ridiculous and noteworthy songs (which will stand the test of time because no one has ever come out with anything close to what Die Antwoord has accomplished) worthy of complete notoriety. 'Banana Brain' may either explain for one Yolanda's transformation from innocence to a music phenomenon. Addressing the fact where Ninja (in the music video) has to spruce up the wild haircut Yolanda was giving herself at the time of a bad (possible) LSD or Acid trip. Hince the never look in a mirror while on such drugs, however 'Banana Brain' has a feel of their eariler material which has finally sprung up in the light of day.
Ideally as chaotic and absurd as Die Antwoord may seem (to people who have not given them the time of day) the duo accomplishes another feat of incredible composition. A delivery of sorts and keeps all of us guessing about the dynamic duo's possible future and new music waiting to be written.
